We are a GOLD Rights Respecting School!
In July 2021, we were delighted to become the first school in Cardiff to be reaccredited as a Gold Rights Respecting School. Over the last three years we have continued to embed and promote children’s rights into our school ethos and culture to improve children’s
well-being, their talents and abilities to reach their full potential.
Since first gaining the award in July 2018, we have ensured that we have met the three main strands to become a Sustaining Gold Rights Respecting School:
Strand A: Teaching and Learning about Rights
Strand B: Teaching and Learning through Rights
Strand C: Teaching and Learning for Rights
Watch out for our Rights Respecting spies. Keep up to date with our weekly newsletters to find out who has been respecting other children's rights.
The Rights Respecting Schools Award is a Unicef UK programme that aims to put children's rights at the heart of schools in the UK.
