Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a good break.

Here are some of the things that we will be learning about this term:

Maths/Mathemateg: Every term we practice place value, mental and written methods linked to the four number operations. Problem solving and reasoning skills are threaded through all maths lessons.

Inquiry: Pollution Solution 

Our inquiry this term is focused around the Humanities area of learning. We will be learning about climate change and how we can make a small change to make a difference. 

Literacy, Numeracy, Science, ICT and Art will be studied through this inquiry. 

Welsh/ Cymraeg: Fi a Fy Frindiau (Me and my friends) and Ar y Penwythnos (On the weekend).

(PE is every Tuesday/Dydd Mawrth and Wednesday/Dydd Mercher)

Things to remember:

SCHOOP: We are now a paperless school, please download the SCHOOP app if you haven’t already and ensure you are signed up to Year 3.

The school code is 4542.

Lunch: Lunch is now free for Year 3 pupils but you have to be signed up to Parent Pay to order it. If your child is having school dinners, this needs to be ordered at home through Parent Pay before the start of school or it can be booked for the whole week on the weekend.

Snack: Children may bring in £1 on a weekly basis for a healthy snack.

Homework:  Will be set through Google Classroom every Thursday/Dydd Iau and will need to be returned by Tuesday/ Dydd Mawrth.
